The Federal Bar Association (FBA) wanted to celebrate its 100th anniversary by telling the story of its first century — and chose MCI USA to do it. Our Creative team researched, wrote, designed, and oversaw production of a 62-page hardcover book; built, launched, and administered fedbar100.org, a website that served as an online hub for the anniversary; aligned the website with an email and social media campaign intended to drive interest in the anniversary and solicit contributions for the Foundation of the FBA; wrote, designed, and produced a 17-minute movie based on the book that was originally to be shown at a gala dinner; and, when COVID forced the cancellation of the gala, appeared as part of a live screening of the movie during the FBA’s now-virtual annual conference.
Results:
- The FBA received nothing but praise from its members about the book, movie, and other materials that MCI USA produced for the anniversary.
- Our email and social media campaign helped the FBA raise more than enough money to fund the anniversary celebration.
- The FBA’s executive director was so pleased with our work that she co-presented a session about it with a member of our Creative team during a recent conference for association media.
