With a streamlined staff and budget, MCI USA worked with the National Industrial Transportation League (NITL) to transition its decades-old annual meeting — the NITL Transportation Summit — to a virtual conference. Because the event was now virtual, NITL was able to stretch the program from two-and-a-half days to a full four and to attract a higher caliber of speaker across the industry and in government who typically wouldn’t be able to attend in-person. Participants rated the NITL Transportation Summit so highly that NITL is reviewing a change to its regular events programming to offer more virtual content to members and nonmembers alike.
