Hybrid experience inspires FIBA off and online audiences

THE CHALLENGE

The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) needed to prepare for its first-ever live draw to be held at its state-of-the-art, hand-shaped headquarters ‘The House of Basketball’, located in the Swiss village of Mies. The live draw required the headquarters to be transformed into a broadcasting studio where the draw would be followed in-house as well as online. ​

THE SOLUTION

Thanks to creative stage design and by incorporating audio, visual and technical production, a flawless and engaging experience was created for both the on-site and virtual attendees. Additionally, thanks to MCI’s on-site technical support from production managers as well as streaming technicians, FIBA covered the entire draw uninterrupted, and it created high engagement on social media.
