Expertise in high-growth fields

MCI’s expertise in launching startups draws on our adaptability and strategic strengths; we provide comprehensive support, leveraging our strategic insights and operational capabilities to help new organisations thrive. Erin references the launch of an organisation supporting cutting-edge field of new medical therapies. "We helped launch this startup organisation last year. Although we lacked direct expertise in this particular branch of science, the group was impressed by our experience and expertise in the governance, strategic and operational challenges unique to a start-up association.”

The initial steps in MCI's process involve critical administrative tasks, such as setting up bank accounts, securing domains and developing financial statements. Erin elaborates: "The first part is a lot of necessary administration, which forms the governance and operational foundation for the organisations for years to come.” This groundwork enables new associations to build from a stable and organised foundation.

Beyond administration, MCI’s services extend to strategic development. We assist clients in launching and managing large-scale, multi-faceted projects, from industry events to creating accreditation standards and developing new data management systems and processes.

Our approach allows us to address the diverse and evolving needs of our clients. "We treat startups as an advisory client to begin with because their needs are so dynamic, but we see every new client as a long-term commitment,” Erin notes.

Long-term growth and sustainability

MCI's approach delivers immediate results but also long-term growth and sustainability. We aim to be strategic partners, helping organisations grow and transform.

As a high-value partner, we attract clients who are serious about growth and willing to invest in the expertise required to achieve it. Erin’s candid perspective is clear: "We think of MCI as a critical start-up investment, yielding better results than leveraging experts that don’t have association, start-up or operational expertise.” Erin notes, “Once we have the foundation set, our team is always invigorated by the creative and strategic opportunities to create and launch new programmes, initiatives, systems and events for these organisations, which give them real brand equity and a chance to reach wider audiences.”

This philosophy ensures that we work with clients aligned with our vision for growth and success.
