To foster a more interactive environment, encouraging networking, learning, and participation, MCI Brazil reimagined the traditional conference format by introducing the concept of "Festivalization," turning the event into a dynamic experience.
To optimise registration, we introduced a facial biometrics system, increased queuing options from two in 2022 to 15 in 2023, and introduced QR coded event badges for virtual accreditation. We also conducted studies to optimise the use of space, enhancing the flow and experience within the tradeshow, designing intelligent pathways to manage attendee movement efficiently and reduce congestion.
To highlight Febraban Tech’s leadership in financial innovation, attendees entered through an immersive tunnel featuring a virtual universe, setting an innovative tone for the event. There was also a metaverse stage blending physical and virtual realities: Speakers and participants interacted within the metaverse while in the same physical auditorium, showcasing cutting-edge technology. AI-powered chatbots enhanced communication and provided real-time assistance and information to attendees, improving engagement and satisfaction.
Sponsor activation strategy and ESG
We designed a system for Febraban to calculate the carbon footprint generated, neutralise it according to the impacts caused, and properly dispose of waste. Microsoft sponsored the entire initiative and, as part of the activation, we created a stand at the event entrance with bicycles. The energy generated by participants who chose to pedal was converted into tree planting. This provided an intelligent activation for the sponsor while educating and raising awareness among participants to mitigate impacts in future editions.
